A Nefarious Mind -- Bloodline BK1 by Lee Pletzers
James Dennett, a photographer trying to pave his way into the mainstream, gets his big break when a photography magazine requires his services.
While he was shooting, his ears picked up the sound of innocent lovemaking in the darkness. As he took the pictures of the unknown couple, the muffled moans abruptly stopped and he found himself face to face with a beast with a hunger for blood.
This is not the basic story of wolf bites man, man turns. This book is a psycho-thriller dealing with the inner workings of a madman's mind, his thinking patterns, love of God and his murderous rampage to set the record straight.
James Dennett has a half brother he doesn't know about, Allen Sheriff. James doesn't remember is real father, but Allen sure as hell does. Allen remembers dad as an abusive son of a bitch who praised everything about James.
Allen suffered because of his half brother, and it was time to bring some pain to the great half brother he could never measure up to. Unknown to both brothers is their lineage; they are both descendant’s of the McDennett, lycanthrope line. We're also shown the inner workings of the mind of a victim who decides to fight back.
This is my first novel, I completed it in 1997. Took three years to write the rough draft as I was a very sociable person back then just stepping into the serious scribe zone. In 2000 I rewrote it while in Japan, no friends there, only work at that time. In 2001 it was released as Blood of the Wolf and did quite well for a self published title.
And now it is back, nine years later, with a new name and in new format.
Enjoy. It's only $1.99 for the e-version. There will not be
a paperback version.
